Getting to Seiri del Mar
Most of our guests fly into Belize City, so the following options will take you from Belize City to Seiri del Mar. If you are coming from a different location, please contact us and we will provide you with the correct information on getting here.
FLY – Flights are available from Belize City to Dangriga on Maya Island Air or Tropic Air. The flight is quick and only takes about 15 minutes. Once you land in Dangriga, you are now 20 minutes away from Seiri del Mar via taxi. It is best to book your taxi ahead of time, please let us know if you need assistance arranging a taxi.
SHUTTLE – Although it takes approximately 2.5 hours to travel from Belize City International Airport to Hopkins, it is a journey through one of the most picturesque and beautiful areas of the country, with plenty of amazing wildlife and tropical panoramas to behold. EMBRACE! BELIZE offers a convenient shuttle service, picking you up directly at the airport and transporting you in comfort and style to your destination in Hopkins Village. BUS – Several buses connect Belize City daily to Dangriga, with a travel time of about three hours. In Dangriga, you’ll have to change buses. One bus leaves Dangriga for Hopkins at 12:00 pm and a second bus leaves Dangriga for Hopkins at 5:00 pm.
OPTION 4 – You can rent a car in Belize City and drive to Seiri del Mar. See the map below for the best route. It avoids having to go into Belize City and guarantees paved roads all the way.
Note that this is NOT the route Google Maps suggests via the Coastal Highway. It is not paved and can be impassable during rainy weather. The area is not very populated, has poor cell phone coverage and could be very dangerous if you break down.

Getting Around in Hopkins
Walking is always an option. It does get hot during the day, so plan to bring plenty of water. At Seiri del Mar we have bicycles available for our guests to use. The bicycles have baskets to carry a few items.
